Fitzmorris in Washington, DC having lunch in a restaurant :
"Well into our repast, I noticed the manager hovering around our table. When I asked if we were laughing too loudly or staying too long, he said, "Not at all! But you guys aren't from here, are you?"
"No," I said. "New Orleans. How did you know?"
"New Orleans! That figures. I knew because you've been here for two and a half hours, and all you've talked about is eating."
"Well, your food is worth talking about," I replied.
"We think so, thanks," he said. "But in this town, when two guys have lunch together, we could feed them anything, and they'd just keep talking about politics."
