After a week in London I can say I still didn't fall in love with the city but I'm glad of all the exhibitions I saw and the moments I had reconnecting with friends.
I really was excited about Gathered Leaves, Alec Soth's major exhibition at the Museum of Science and I wasn't deceived at all even if I couldn't afford a single book of the guy. Good work equals high price, huh... Someone told me about the Photographer's Gallery not far from Oxford Circus and I discovered some good photobook shop where I just lost myself, just ask bae he felt the burn. One of my big surprise, yeah shame on me, was discovering that Lorna Simpson had works at the Tate, her early photographs series I'm quite fan of.
There's a good BJP article on Alec Soth's exhibition in London here
